Easy Alfredo Pasta (Cacio e Pepe)

Ingredients:

  • 6 ounces pasta of your choice 
  • 1 Tbsp Salt
  • 4 Tbsp Unsalted Butter
  • 1/2 Tsp Ground Black Pepper
  • 6 Tbsp Grated Parmesan Cheese

Directions:

  • Get a large pot filled with water and bring to boil
  • Add salt to the water and mix 
  • Add the pasta and let it cook until al dente 
  • Once the pasta is almost ready take half a cup of the pasta water 
  • Put the pasta water in a pan and let it simmer 
  • Cute the butter in cubes and mix in the water little at a time
  • Once all the butter is mixed with water add the parmesan cheese mixing it so there are no lumps
  • Add all the pasta in the pot and mix until all the pasta is coated in the sauce
  • Serve in a plate sprinkle some of the black pepper on top of the pasta

Notes: 

  • Try to use fresh parmesan cheese instead of the pre-grated shaker bottle. 
  • You can mix in some Black pepper with parmesan if you want it mixed in.
  • Use red pepper flaxes on top if you want to add a little bit of spiciness.
