Easy Alfredo Pasta (Cacio e Pepe)
Ingredients:
- 6 ounces pasta of your choice
- 1 Tbsp Salt
- 4 Tbsp Unsalted Butter
- 1/2 Tsp Ground Black Pepper
- 6 Tbsp Grated Parmesan Cheese
Directions:
- Get a large pot filled with water and bring to boil
- Add salt to the water and mix
- Add the pasta and let it cook until al dente
- Once the pasta is almost ready take half a cup of the pasta water
- Put the pasta water in a pan and let it simmer
- Cute the butter in cubes and mix in the water little at a time
- Once all the butter is mixed with water add the parmesan cheese mixing it so there are no lumps
- Add all the pasta in the pot and mix until all the pasta is coated in the sauce
- Serve in a plate sprinkle some of the black pepper on top of the pasta
Notes:
- Try to use fresh parmesan cheese instead of the pre-grated shaker bottle.
- You can mix in some Black pepper with parmesan if you want it mixed in.
- Use red pepper flaxes on top if you want to add a little bit of spiciness.
