Spaghetti aglio e olio

Ingredients:

  • 14 Oz Spaghetti Pasta
  • 1.5 Oz Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • 2 Tsp Red chili flakes
  • 7 Garlic cloves
  • 6 Tbsp Olive Oil
  • Handful Fresh Parsley
  • 1/4 Tsp salt

Directions:

  • Boil a pot of water and heavily salt it.
  • Cook the pasta in that water until almost done.
  • Thinly slice the garlic cloves and chop the fresh parsley.
  • In a pan add olive oil and sliced garlic, cook for 2 mins, or until its almost golden brown on medium heat.
  • Add the chili flakes and salt and cook for 1 min. 
  • Drain the pasta and reserve 1/4 cup of pasta water. 
  • Add pasta to the olive oil mix. 
  • Toss well and add the fresh parsley and parmesan cheese. 
  • Add a little of the pasta water if the pasta and oil mix is not mixing properly. 
  • Serve on a plate and add a little cheese and parsley to garnish.
