Kit Kat Brownies

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 Cup & 2 Tbsp of Unsalted Butter
  • 1 1/2 Cups Sugar
  • 3/4 Cup Cocoa Powder
  • 1/4 Tsp Salt
  • 2 Large Eggs
  • 2 Teaspoons Vanilla Extract
  • 1/2 Cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 1/2 Cup Chocolate Chips
  • 32 Pieces of KitKat bars 
  • 1/4 Cup Semisweet Chocolate
  • 1/4 Cup Butter

Directions: 

  • Pre-Heat Oven to 350° F and grease a baking pan. 
  • In a microwave-safe bowl add butter, Sugar, Cocoa powder, and salt. 
  • Microwave for 1 minute, stir well then microwave for 1 more minute. 
  • Mix well then add vanilla extract and eggs. 
  • Add in flour and fold it in until fully combined. 
  • Add chocolate chips and fold them in the batter. 
  • Spoon half the batter into the baking pan. 
  • Place KitKats on top, then spoon the remaining batter making sure to cover all the KitKats. 
  • Leave 8 KitKat bars for later use.
  • Bake for 35 to 40 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. 
  • Let the brownies cool completely for 30 minutes.
  • In a Microwave safe bowl heat up the butter and chocolate.
  • Pour the mixture over the brownie.
  • Break up the remaining KitKat bars and sprinkle over the top.
