Biscuit

Ingredients:

  • 4 Cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 2 Tbsp Sugar
  • 1 Tbsp Baking Powder
  • 1 Tbsp Salt
  • 1 Cup Cold Butter
  • 1 1/3 Cup Cold Milk

Directions:

  • Whisk flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder in a large bowl.
  • Toss in cubed cold butter and coat in the flour mixture.
  • Rub butter pieces between your finger to work the butter into the flour.
  • Keep doing it until the butter is almost pea size.
  • Fold milk into the flour mix, until most of it is moist.
  • Transfer the dough to a floured surface.
  • Flour your hands then pat the mix into rectangles.
  • Fold the dough in half two times.
  • Pat the dough into a rectangle and repeat 3 more times.
  • Roll the dough about 1 inch then cut into the desired shape.
  • Transfer the pieces to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Freeze them for 20 minutes.
  • Preheat oven to 425 F and bake the biscuits for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
