Chocolate Chip Banana Bread
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup butter (Softened)
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 3 ripe bananas
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chip
Directions:
- Pre Heat the over to 350 F.
- Butter then Lightly flour the Bread loaf pan
- Mix the butter and sugar
- Beat the eggs and then add to the mix
- In a separate bowl mash the bananas
- Add the mashed banans to the mix
- Add vanilla extract and mix until blended
- In a separate bowl mix all the dry ingredients
- Flour, Baking soda, and salt
- Then mix both wet and dry ingredients until incorporated
- Fold in 3/4 cups of chocolate chips and transfer it to loaf pan
- Sprinkle the leftover chocolate chips
- Bake at 350 F for 45 mins or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean
- Rest for 10 mins then transfer to wire rack.
Notes:
- Timing may vary depending on the size and thickness of the pan
- Frozen chocolate chips keep their shape
- Adjust Sugar and Chocolate chip amount if you want sweeter or less sweet bread.
- Egg substitute: use 1/4 cup unsweetened apple sauce for 1 egg. If you have sweetened apple sauce then reduce the amount of sugar in the recipe.
