Ingredients:
- 1/4 Cups Sugar
- 1 Packet or 2 1/4 Tsp Yeast
- 3/4 Tsp Salt
- 2 1/4 Tbsp Oil
- 3 Cups All-Purpose Flour
- 1 Cup Warm Water
- In a large bowl mix 1Tbsp sugar, Yeast and Water. Let it rest for 5 to 10 minutes or until the mix is foamy.
- Add the rest of the sugar, salt, and oil.
- Mix in 1 cup of flour at a time until the dough forms and stops sticking to the bowl.
- Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead for 7 minutes
- Place the dough in a well-oiled bowl, cover, and rest at room temperature for 1 hour.
- Punch the dough down and knead for 1 minute and shape into loaves and put it in a greased bread pan.
- Cover and let the dough rise for 30 minutes.
- Pre-Heat oven to 350 F.
- Bake for 30 to 40 minutes.
- Cool the bread and brush some butter on it before serving.
