Easy White Bread

  Ingredients:

  • 1/4 Cups Sugar
  • 1 Packet or 2 1/4 Tsp Yeast
  • 3/4 Tsp Salt
  • 2 1/4 Tbsp Oil
  • 3 Cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 Cup Warm Water 
Direction:
  • In a large bowl mix 1Tbsp sugar, Yeast and Water. Let it rest for 5 to 10 minutes or until the mix is foamy.
  • Add the rest of the sugar, salt, and oil. 
  • Mix in 1 cup of flour at a time until the dough forms and stops sticking to the bowl. 
  • Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead for 7 minutes
  • Place the dough in a well-oiled bowl, cover, and rest at room temperature for 1 hour. 
  • Punch the dough down and knead for 1 minute and shape into loaves and put it in a greased bread pan.
  • Cover and let the dough rise for 30 minutes.
  • Pre-Heat oven to 350 F.
  • Bake for 30 to 40 minutes. 
  • Cool the bread and brush some butter on it before serving.
