Ingredients:
- 1 1/4 Cup Unsalted Butter ( Room Temp)
- 1 1/2 Cup Light Brown Sugar
- 1 1/3 Cup Molasses
- 2 Large Egg ( Room Temp)
- 2 Tsp Vanilla Extract
- 1 Tsp Salt
- 2 Tbsp Ground Ginger
- 2 Tbsp Ground Cinnamon
- 1 Tsp Ground Allspice
- 1 Tsp Ground Cloves
- Cookie Icing
Direction:
- In a large bowl beat the butter until it's completely smooth.
- Add brown sugar and molasses until fully combined and creamy looking.
- Beat in the Eggs and Vanilla.
- In a separate bowl mix the flour, salt, ginger, cinnamon, allspice, and cloves.
- Slowly combine the flour mix into the butter mixture.
- The Dough will be thick and sticky, divide the dough into 4 pieces.
- turn each dough into a disc shape and let it chill for a few hours.
- Pre Heat oven to 350° F and line cookie sheets with parchment paper.
- Roll each disc on a floured surface to 1/4 inch thick. cut into shapes and place on cookie sheets 1 inch apart.
- Bake for about 8 to 10 minutes.
