Italian Herb Sub Bread

 

  Ingredients:

  • 2 1/4 Cup warm water
  • 2 Tbsp Sugar
  • 1 Tbsp Active Dry Yeast
  • 3/4 Tbsp Salt
  • 2 Tbsp Olive Oil
  • 6 Cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 Tbsp Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 Tbsp Italian Seasoning 
Direction:
  • In a big bowl combine Water, Sugar, and Yeast.
  • Let the mix stand for 5 minutes or until you see bubble and foam.
  • Add salt, oil, and 6 cups of flour to it and mix until soft ball forms. 
  • Remove the mix from the bowl to a floured surface and kneed for 3 minutes
  • Add more flour if the dough is too sticky 
  • Transfer the dough to an oiled bowl and cover with a towel for one hour
  • Divide the dough into 4 equal pieces 
  • Roll each dough into a breadstick 
  • In a small bowl combine the Parmesan cheese and Italian Seasoning
  • Spread the mixture on a flat surface
  • Roll each Dough stick on the mixture covering the top of the stick 
  • Grease and line 2 cookie sheets with parchment paper.
  • Transfer each dough stick on to cookie sheets and cover with a towel.
  • let the sticks rest for 1 hour. 
  • Pre-Heat oven to 375° F
  • Bake for 15 - 20 mins or until the bread is golden brown
  • Remove from oven and slather with some melted butter.
