Ingredients:
- 300 Grams Gobo root, Juliened
- 100 Grams Carrots, Juliened
- 2 Tbsp Toasted Sesame Oil
- 1 Tbsp Sugar
- 1 Tbsp Sake/ Cooking wine
- 1 Tbsp Rice Vinegar
- 1 1/2 Tbsp Soy Sauce
- 1 Dried Chilli, seeded and chopped
- 1/4 Tsp Salt
- 2 Tsp Sesame Seeds
Directions:
- In a bowl fill up water and soak the gobo roots for 10 minutes.
- Chage the water halfway and rinse under cold water.
- In a wok or non-stick pan heat up oil.
- Add the gobo roots and cook for couple minutes.
- Once the gobo seems half way cooked add carrots.
- Stir fry and cook until both vegetables are tender.
- Add sugar, sake, vinegar, soy sauce, and salt.
- Add chopped chilli and cook until all the liquid evaporates.
- Serve and garnish with sesame seeds.
