Italian Bread

Ingredients:

  • 3/4 Tsp Yeast
  • 1 Tsp Sugar
  • 1/2 Cup Warm Water
  • 1/2 Tsp Salt
  • 1 Cup Farino Flour
  • 1 Tsp Olive Oil

Directions:

  • In a small bowl mix together Sugar, Yeast, and Water.
  • In a large bowl mix together Flour and Salt.
  • Mix in the yeast water slowly and mix until its combined.
  • Transfer dough to flat surface sprinkled with flour.
  • Knead and add more flour if needed. the flour should not be too sticky
  • Knead for 3 to 5 minutes until soft.
  • Transfer the dough to bowl and coat in oil.
  • Cover and rest for 30 minutes.
  • Divide the dough in 2 pieces.
  • Brush a baking sheet with oil. 
  • Shape the pieces of dough in to rectangle bread shape.
  • Place the bread on baking sheet and cover with plastic wrap
  • Let it rise for 60 minutes or until doubled in size.
  • Pre heat oven to 350 F.
  • Score the top of bread with a knife.
  • Bake for 40 minutes or until top is golden brown.
