Salted Caramel Frosting Cupcakes

Ingredient : 

For Cupcakes:

  • 3/4 Cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 1/2 Cup Cocoa Powder
  • 3/4 Tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/3 Tsp Baking Soda
  • 1/4 Tsp Salt
  • 2 Large Eggs
  • 1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
  • 1/3 Cup Vegetable oil
  • 2 Tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1/2 Cup Buttermilk

For Salted Caramel Cream Cheese FROSTING:

  • 1/4 Cup Butter
  • 4 Oz Cream Cheese
  • 1/2 Tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1/8 Tsp Salt
  • 2 1/2 Cups Powdered Sugar
  • 1/4 Cup Salted Caramel Sauce

Direction :

For Cupcakes:

  • Preheat the oven to 350° F and line the muffin pan.
  • In a large bowl whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and soda.
  • In a small bowl, combine the eggs, sugar, brown sugar, oil, and vanilla extract.
  • make a well in the flour mixture and pour the egg mix and buttermilk into it.
  • Mix until smooth and fully combined. Don't overmix.
  • Pour the mix into a muffin pan filling each mold 1/2 of the way full.
  • Bake for 20 to 22 mins or until the toothpick comes out clean when inserted.
  • Cool for 15 minutes then top it with frosting.

For Salted Caramel Cream Cheese FROSTING:

  • In a bowl, mix butter and cream cheese until combined
  • Add powder sugar, salt, caramel sauce, and vanilla and mix until light and fluffy.
  • Top the cupcakes with frosting then top with your favorite sprinkles or chocolate.
