Sinangag (Filipino Garlic Fried Rice)

Ingredients:

  • 1 Tbsp Vegetable oil
  • 4 Cloves Garlic, Minced
  • 1 Cup Rice, Cooked & Cooled
  • 1/4 Tsp Salt
  • 1/8 Tsp Ground Pepper
  • Green Onion
  • 1 Egg, Fried
  • 1 Tbsp Banana Ketchup

Directions:

  • In a skillet, heat oil over medium heat.
  • Reduce heat then add garlic and fry until garlic is light brown.
  • Remove garlic and keep oil in the skillet.
  • Add cooked rice to the oil and toss and cook on medium heat.
  •  Spread out the rice on the skillet and let it get slightly crispy.
  • Add some of the fried garlic, salt, and pepper.
  • Toss to mix then transfer to a plate.
  • Top with a fried egg and garnish with some green onions and fried garlic.
  • Serve with Banana Ketchup.
