Sinangag (Filipino Garlic Fried Rice)
Ingredients:
- 1 Tbsp Vegetable oil
- 4 Cloves Garlic, Minced
- 1 Cup Rice, Cooked & Cooled
- 1/4 Tsp Salt
- 1/8 Tsp Ground Pepper
- Green Onion
- 1 Egg, Fried
- 1 Tbsp Banana Ketchup
Directions:
- In a skillet, heat oil over medium heat.
- Reduce heat then add garlic and fry until garlic is light brown.
- Remove garlic and keep oil in the skillet.
- Add cooked rice to the oil and toss and cook on medium heat.
- Spread out the rice on the skillet and let it get slightly crispy.
- Add some of the fried garlic, salt, and pepper.
- Toss to mix then transfer to a plate.
- Top with a fried egg and garnish with some green onions and fried garlic.
- Serve with Banana Ketchup.
